On the afternoon of July 20^th, Shandong Maritime Search&Rescue Center held the forth meeting for liaison men in Qingdao. Deputy Director-General of Shandong MSA and deputy Director of  the general office of Shandong Maritime Search andRescue Center, Xu Zengfu, and the representatives from the relevant departments attended the meeting.

 

The meeting reported the work for the first six months in the year of 2010 and the forecast of the tropical cyclone. The representatives also discussed the situation of search and rescue and the difficulties in search and rescue. Finally, Mr. Xu Zengfu concluded that the number of the emergencies and the deaths of lives increased this year. The relevant departments should strengthen the emergency response system and the Search and Rescue Center should try to obtain support from the local financial units.
