| Rescue of a Sick Seaman |

At 0850 on October 9th, Weihai Maritime Search & Rescue Center received an emergency from China Shipping Development Co. Ltd. that a seaman on board the tanker DA QING 74 badly needed medical aid when the vessel was sailing to Nanjing from Bohai Sea Platform.
The center took rescue actions immediately. They assigned DA QING 74 to Shidao port at full speed and cooperated the relevant vessel to transfer the sick seaman. At 0740 on October 10th, the seaman was out of danger due to the timely treatment. |
