In order to further enhance the coordination and cooperation on maritime safety supervision and management between MSA and fishery management divisions, Shandong MSA and Fishery Management Division in the Yellow&Bohai Sea Regions of Ministry of Agriculture had a meeting in Yantai on 24^th Mar., 2010. Director-General of Shandong MSA, Yuan Zongxiang, Director-General of Yantai MSA, Ma Yuqing, and Director-General of Fishery Management Division in the Yellow&Bohai Sea Regions, Liu Yuanlin and other relevant chiefs attended the meeting.

 

Yuan Zongxiang informed the emergencies of fishing ships in Shandong jurisdiction area. Both sides analysed the reasons of the emergencies and agreed to further enhance the cooperation between each other. In addition, they had a discussion on the effective implementation of "Memo on Maritime Safety Management".
