In order to ensure safety of tourist peak hours during National Day, Weihai MSA Nangang Marine Dept. took four measures to strengthen supervision on Wei-Liu shipping route ferries.

 

Firstly, enforced festival watch-keeping system, carried out emergency responds standby system, Dept. leaders went to tour dock to inspect safety work everyday.

 

Secondly, increased on-scene supervision of tourist ferries, stopped over-loading and increased inspect frequency.

 

Thirdly, took complete surveillance with CCTV、AIS、VHF and so on, enhanced supervision efficiency on-scene.

 

Fourthly, arranged ferries to pass in and out in order.
