Beihai Forecast Center of the State Ocean Administration issues storm surge pre-alert with level 3 at 1600 on September 28. It is forecasted that from the morning on 29^th to the early hours of the morning on 30^th September there will be storm surge with heights of 60-120cm, 70-150cm and 30-70cm alongside the coasts in the northern parts of Shandong Peninsula. The tide heights in Tanggu, Huanghua, Binzhou, Yangjiaogou, Penglai and Zhifudao will approach to and probably exceed the warning level. The tide height in Weifang will reach, even above, the warning level.
