Director-general Zhou Jian’an of Shandong Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (CIQ Shandong) paid a visit to Shandong MSA, accompanied by Deputy Director-general and the related officers in charge on January 13 2015. Director-general Yuan Zongxiang and Deputy Director-general Wang Haiyu and the related officers in charge of Shandong MSA met them.

 

Wang Haiyu briefed the bilateral cooperation on the implementation of the Cooperation Memorandum on Entry-Exit Administration to improve port efficiency. Shi Yong highlighted the concrete measures on further cooperation. Both sides had deep talks on the work to be conducted in compliance with the Notice on strengthening port administrative service to promote the new normal of the cooperation mechanism of transportation and trade facilitation as well as on single window construction, ship inspection and quarantine and seafarer physical examination result recognition.

 

Zhou Jian’an said that the increasing bilateral cooperation enlarged the effective influence and achieved good results. He hoped to enhance joint administration and coordination to make further progress in future.

 

Yuan Zongxiang concluded that cooperation between CIQ Shandong and Shandong MSA has been the new normal which achieved good beginning, good coordination and good effect with the development of Shandong shipping industry and the rapid growth of dangerous cargo and container traffic volume. He emphasized that both parties should adopt to the New Normal and initiate new prospects to serve the development of local society and economy.
