Director-general of Shandong Oceanic and Fishery Bureau Wang Shouxin paid a visit to Shandong MSA on 6 February. Director-general Yuan Zongxiang and deputy Director-general Wanghaiyu met them and expressed a warm welcome.

 

They had an in-depth exchange of views on the results got in maritime safety management, safe sea waters building and serving oceanic economy, and also shared information on the implementation of the Traffic Separation Scheme and the Mandatory Ship Reporting System in the waters off the Chengshan Jiao Promontory, application of radar reflectors on fishing vessels, joint management of navigational waters, prevention of providing service to illegal ore carriers. Shandong Oceanic and Fishery Bureau finally presented Shandong MSA with a banner reading:”maritime safety guardian, marine fishery protector”.
