On the afternoon of May 23, Penglai branch of Yantai MSA conducted regular supervisions on the ro-ro quay engineering project in Penglai port. During the supervision, the law-enforcement officers checked the implementation of the main body responsibility of safety production and the records of the regular safety inspections on the engineering ship and of the education on operation persons. The engineering units are required to choose qualified ships to conduct engineering and to report the documentation of the engineering ship and the engineering progress as well as the ship management situation to the MSA. The safety education on operation seafarers is required when the engineering ship enters the yard. All engineering ships need to keep the AIS system on for monitoring by the MSA.
