On March 3, Weihai MSA carried out patrols in the key waters under its administration to guarantee maritime safety during the two sessions.

The law-enforcement officers took the two patrol ships HAIXUN 0592 and HAIXUN 05903, and set off from WeihaiXingangto conduct patrols on the main waterway of Weihai port and anchorages in Xinquas well as passenger transport route between Weihai and Liugongdao. During the patrol, the law-enforcement officers conducted casual inspections on the ro-ro passenger ship HULUDAO between Weihai and Dalian, conducted comprehensive inspections on the navigation order of ships operating on the route between Weihai and Liugongdao, and drove away fishing boats which obstructed navigation.
