On July 9, the 29er Class Sailing Final of the 2^ndNational Youth Games of the People's Republic of Chinaand the 49er National Sailing Championship opened in Rizhao. According to the requirements of the Organizing Committee of the Games, Rizhao MSA and Rizhao Marine Development Bureau were jointly responsible for maritime security during the games.

In order to ensure the successful completion of the games, Rizhao MSA and RizhaoMarine Development Bureau respectively dispatched two law-enforcement ships, namely "Sea Patrol 05808" and "China Fisheries Administration 37161", to patrol at specified locations.Temporary traffic controls were conducted before and after the games to prevent tourist boats and fishing boats from entering the game waters.
