In order to unite and lead the majority of maritime young workers to firmly follow the party, accomplish new achievements, carry forward the party's glorious tradition and fine style, on September 28, Dongjiakou MSA organized young workers to carry out a lecture and speech contest.

In order to ensure the fairness and justice of the competition, and show the achievements of maritime culture construction in the new era, the competition invited the leaders of port companies and navigation enterprises stationed in Dongjiakou shipping center as judges. Five groups of contestants in the lecture competition introduced the history of maritime development and the theory of maritime business with the themes of the historical evolution of China's maritime affairs.
