At the end of October, the final of the English Interpretation Competition named " the best Qilu（Shandong Province） Translator " was held in Jinan. After preliminary contest, there are 18 contestants being selected for the final stage of the competition. Liumei from Shandong Maritime Safety Administration won the second prize (fourth place) with her solid interpretation ability and good on-site performance, showing her good professional quality and elegant demeanor.

Shandong Maritime Safety Administration always attached great importance to the training of talents for the implementation of maritime conventions and  international cooperation. In the past five years, Shandong MSA submitted 56 proposals to international or regional organizations such as IMO. Shandong Maritime Safety Administration will continue to strengthen the personnel training for international cooperation, give great impetus to promote the tracking research on international maritime affairs, actively participate in international maritime exchanges and cooperation, and push the maritime implementation of the Bureau to a new level.
