As the warm weather approaching, the voyage activity of yachts become increasingly frequent at sea. To strengthen safety supervision of yachts and fight against illegal navigation activities, Yantai Zhifu Maritime Department has conducted a specific law enforcement action on yachts with Bureau of Ocean Development and Fishery of Zhifu District and other five departments from May 9th to 10th.

During the campaign, law enforcement officers  carried out the cruise and patrol both at sea and on land. By taking coastal patrol vessel “Haixun-05218” and Fisheries Administration Vessle-37065, they have finished a complete cruise among waters around Zhifu Island. Officers in land have screened coastal waters of Xikou. 3 Suspected yachts without name, certificate and port of registry have been checked and detained. For fishing yachts with complete procedures, officers have popularized relevant laws and expelled them. Information of yachts anchored in the administrative region have been confirmed and recorded.
